Though it gets more difficult to communicate with her as my life becomes more complicated with age, my mother continues to put me as her first priority. She's done so much since I've been back from BKK to make the transition easier for me that I'm reminded of how thankful I am to have her everyday in my life. I guess while life inevitably force us to grow distant from our parents, it also reminds us just how dear they can be to our lives.
