When we first met Ushma described Meg and I as "the same person". We clearly do not resemble each other, but as I got to know Meg I began to understand what Ushma meant. Meg and I have similar silly/careless tendencies, and at times I do kind of see how she is similar to how I was when I first came to Thailand when I was 24. Yet, there is so much more to Meg, and she possesses a sense of adventure that I never had when I was 24. I appreciate how Meg approaches her experience here with reckless abandon (sometimes), because it really reminds me of how I should enjoy and appreciate my miraculous time here as well.
