These two weirdos were my Chinese students last year... they're troublemakers but I do really like them. It's because of these two that I've developed an interest in Mandarin (they spoke it), while I couldn't always communicate to them effectively I did understand them pretty well and it was quite interesting listening to what they have to say. Never before had I had an desire to properly learn Mandarin, but I just may after having met these two.
