This past weekend Rachel and I had the chance to finally reunite after almost three years. We did little things that really celebrated and highlighted what our friendship was built upon--skating, bubble tea, singing (her, not me), and talking about faith. It's kind of amazing because I feel like in the time that we've been apart both of us went through such an intense time of change and spiritual revelation... and I know times were tough at times for Rachel, but to see her filled with such joy when she spoke about her life and all the personal trials she conquered really made me happy. I'm thankful that life has provided her with such a great journey for her to go on, and I hope it continues to treat her kindly.
