#918: Woman at Lawson

I remember the first day I arrived at Bangkok, I felt so alone, so foreign, and so scared... I decided to wander to my nearest convenient store to get some stuff and there I met a cashier lady who knew I was foreign and tried her best to speak English to me. Several years later, here I am in a similar situation... I had forgotten how weird it feels to be a stranger in a new place, and somehow, as though it's life telling me that everything will be fine again, at the convenient store I met another woman at the cashier who knew I was foreign, and took time to make a little conversation with me. I'm so thankful for these little acts of kindness.
