Just as Papa Roach sings in his song, "...our scars remind us that the past is real", I am thankful for my physical and emotional scars. We all learn through our mistakes, and I believe a lot of times revelation only comes to us through times of great pain. Our scars will always be there, not as stigma, but as reminders of our strength and self-worth.
