I've met a lot of people since I've been in Bangkok, but Ms. Jay is probably the only Thai person whom I can confidently say has accepted me as her friend. I don't know why, but I've found it so difficult to connect with people in Thailand, especially with Thai people; it's not really a matter of language barriers, so it's probably just my personality. Nevertheless, Ms. Jay's really been the only person that would constantly reach out to me with her support and friendship, and I very much appreciate that. It's really not easy to offer your sincerity to others as generously as Ms. Jay does, so for her I am thankful.
