#888: Iris

If circumstance were different, Iris and I might have been much closer than we are now, but even still, I really like seeing her every time I'm back I'm Hong Kong. It's nice that she also makes time for me each time, going with me to visit silly attractions despite crazy weathers. This time around, I have noticed something new about her that I am grateful for... her outlook on life has really changed since her marriage. Before getting married, Iris had gone through some really rough patches. She had made it through them with a lot of courage, but the process had hardened her a bit too, understandably. Yet, this time around I really have noticed a change in her energies, there seems to be a lot more openness, a lot more room for joy.
