I got to spend quite a bit of quality time with Jesse today in Astoria... this never happens so I'm happy for the chance to do so. Hanging out with Jesse just reminded me why I appreciate him so much... he's a little bit quirky, a little bit odd, and a lot of kindness. Today in particular though, he showed me just how genuine he is as a loving, caring person (albeit not directed at me)... and I was moved as I witnessed love as this powerfully transformative force. Although Jesse and I aren't really close friends, it makes me feel so grateful to know that I have someone as sincere and generous as he is in my life.
